8 TIPS to save time & $$$ when working with designers

  1. # 1 time saver!! >> Supply 99%-100% finished approved content - text and images - before the start of any job.
  2.  A well thought out and documented brief is gold!
  3.  Less drafts are better. In over 4000 jobs we've averaged 2-3 drafts a job.
  4.  To reduce number of drafts, bundle up any changes into bigger sweeps. It is much quicker to do everything in bigger bundles.
  5. Avoid Lots of small changes and requesting to see the new draft after every change - can add hours to a big job.
  6. Reduce the number of meetings/pop ins. Meet at the beginning to get briefed and maybe one more meeting if absolutely necessary.
  7.  Where possible, search for stock images yourself, this can save $$ especially for small jobs.
  8. Design is strategic as as well as creative, allow time and money for both for the best result.
